HITWAY BK5 is top of its class electric bike for €500 price tag (for the lower battery model). I am a little afraid that it will brake down in couple of months because you can’t buy something this good quality for that price.
It got delivered to Belgium in 3-4 business days. And tracking my order was easy and accurate.
This little monster offers everything you need for short distance ridings. I do 12 km per day, for work. It is easy to take it with you on the train and your car. And on 2nd and 3rd level, you basically don’t need to pedals at all, it becomes a little electric scooter which allows you to reach your destination without breaking any sweat.
Some negative parts:
I really underestimated how heavy 22kg is. Some stairs up and down to the train station is the real workout. I would consider my self fit and strong but it is heavy.
I did so far 90kms maybe because it is new but it is not so easy to fold the bicycle, it requires some effort. Maybe that will get easier after some time.
I did 17-18 km last day, only at 3rd lvl full power, battery was empty. But I don’t need more than that. If you need to do more km’s get the bigger battery, or let your legs do some extra work. Without the electric support it is not an efficient bicycle.
Long story short, it is a good electric bicycle.
Het is idd een prachtige fiets ik heb hem voor mijn moederdag en voor mijn verjaardag gekregen alleen is er een nadeel de fiets heeft een hoge instap waardoor ik moeilijk op de fiets kan komen ik ben maar 1.65 lang dus voor kleine mensen en mensen die last van evenwicht hebben zou ik zeggen beter een lage instap model nemen

The delivery and the order change to a BK6 instead of bk6 (After ordering) went quick! What I do find unfortunate from Hitway is that a new updated version of the BK6S came out 5 days after my purchase with new features, better battery and app. I find it unfortunate that there was no communication anywhere that a new bike was coming. Not even when I had changed my order via email. I would have waited and paid €50 extra for a new and better version of the bike.

I really like this bike. The assembly went well because my husband is technical skilled so in an hour or two it was ready. Wow its really Fast and Nice!! I love the speed and comfort. I put 3 chains on it, hopefully no one takes my bike, cause I love it! Might want to but another one in the near future
Good solid bike with everything I could have wished for.
Have been enjoying this e bike for over 2 weeks. And I am pleased to say I am absolutely loving it. Since the day my well packaged box arrived full of everything you need to get riding (tools etc) I was enjoying my first ride within 25 mins. If you a novice or someone that enjoys a effortless ride this is must buy. A five star experience!

Had a challenge sourcing well working disks for my BK5, after engaging with their support team, they provided guidance to choosing the right disks as well as providing guidance videos on how to fit them. All worked well and left feeling there is a great sense of brand awareness of quality here.

Ich vergebe nur vier Sterne, weil ich immer wieder feststelle, dass die vordere Bremse quietscht, egal mit welcher Einstellung der Bremse. Die feststehende Bremsbacke, drückt permanent an die Bremsscheibe, und deshalb quietscht sie. Ansonsten bin ich rund um zufrieden mit dem E-Bike. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist optimal und ich kann es jeden empfehlen zu kaufen.

Bremsengeräusche werden durch die Reibung der Bremsen während des Transports des Fahrrads verursacht. Bitte seien Sie versichert, dass dies ein normales Phänomen ist.

Ich habe das Fahrrad heute erhalten, ausgepackt und zusammen gebaut (es war sehr einfach und gut beschrieben)
Die Probefahrt Fahrt war sehr gut, das Bike ist sehr robust gebaut und fährt sich sehr gut. Ich werde noch eins für meine Frau kaufen.
After 10 working day's the bike arrived from Poland. After 15 minutes out of the box the bike is ready to go. Great accaleration in al gears. 15 km/ph 20km/ph or 25 km/ph.
Even uphill the bike performs well..great buy.
